Designed around
academic life

We understand that students already balance demanding academic schedules and extracurricular commitments.

For this reason, The Global Youth Council is intentionally structured to complement, not compete with, school life.

  • Live sessions take place one Saturday per month at 12:00 GMT.
  • The virtual Fellowship requires approximately 50 hours of engagement across the full year.
  • Lower-intensity periods are aligned with major academic exam seasons.
  • The only in-person component is the 3-day Global Summit in mid-July.

The Fellowship is designed to provide meaningful growth and international exposure while remaining realistic and manageable alongside school responsibilities.

What makes the
Global Youth Council different

The Global Youth Council is not a traditional academic course or competition. Rather than focusing only on performance or credentials, the Fellowship is built around conversation, collaboration, reflection and applied learning.

Students engage with:

  • Global leaders and experts
  • Real-world case discussions
  • Debate and simulations
  • Cross-cultural collaboration
  • Mentorship and guidance
  • Civic engagement and applied projects
The experience is designed to help Fellows strengthen not only their academic and professional pathways, but also their confidence, judgment, communication and sense of purpose.

A truly
global community

One of the defining strengths of the Global Youth Council is its international cohort.

Fellows are selected from different countries, schools, cultures and lived experiences around the world. Throughout the Fellowship, students collaborate closely through peer circles, discussions, projects and live sessions designed to encourage meaningful cross-cultural exchange and long-term global friendships, while building a lasting community of future leaders across the world.

University &
Future pathways

Throughout the Fellowship, students build a Personal Impact Portfolio capturing their reflections, projects, ideas and experiences across the year.

By the end of the Fellowship, Fellows graduate with:

  • Official Global Youth Council Certificate.
  • A formal Letter of Recommendation.
  • A structured body of work supporting university and scholarship applications.
  • Access to mentorship and future opportunities.
  • Into the global the Global Youth Council alumni community.

The Fellowship is designed to help students better articulate who they are, what they care about and the kind of impact they hope to create in the future.

Join the Global Youth Council alumni network, a global community that grows with you long after the Fellowship ends.
